Kissimmee, Fla.-The fifth-ranked softball team improved to 2-0 with a 7-3 win over Bethany. Sophomore Carly Myers (Claremont Secondary/Victoria, British Columbia, Canada) earned her first win of the season, striking out eight in a complete game.

Senior Amanda Illinger (Norwich Free Academy/Hanover, Conn.) went one-for four with three RBI's, while sophomore Amanda Kowalsick (Riverhead/Jamesport) drove in two runs.

The Bombers continue play at the Rebel Games on Monday. They will face Wartburg at 11:30 a.m. and John Carroll at 11 a.m.
